Accelerating Action for Gender Equality

Investing in Future Generations 
NETIS Tanzania extended its commitment beyond the workplace by engaging with students at Igogo Primary School. Through an educational session, we introduced young minds—especially girls—to the telecom industry, emphasizing the importance of STEM careers. Led by our female professionals, the session inspired the next generation while reinforcing our dedication to corporate social responsibility. 

Networking and Leadership Development 
NETIS Ghana took part in the Women in STEM event, where senior female leaders represented the company and contributed to key discussions on advancing women in science and technology. Additionally, the team organized a Networking Dinner for Female Professionals and Entrepreneurs, creating a platform for meaningful connections, collaboration, and mentorship. A special panel discussion on Gender in the Workplace and Gender and Leadership further emphasized the vital role of women in business. 

Empowering Conversations and Engagement 
Our teams in Uganda, Benin, and the DRC led insightful discussions on gender equality, female leadership, and workplace inclusion. In Uganda, a post-lunch discussion fostered open dialogue about challenges and opportunities for women in the workplace. Meanwhile, NETIS Benin engaged employees in meaningful exchanges on gender disparities, highlighting the importance of collective action for inclusion. Across Kinshasa, Kasaï, and Goma, our teams actively participated in discussions promoting gender equality in their respective regions. 

Community Impact and Support 
NETIS Togo demonstrated its commitment to gender equality and social responsibility by supporting women’s associations through food donations. This initiative was made possible through both company contributions and employee engagement, showcasing a strong collective effort toward community support. 

Celebrating and Strengthening Bonds 
NETIS Kenya marked #AccelerateAction with a day filled with activities focused on celebrating women and fostering dialogue. From a collective photo session to a ladies-only breakout discussion, the event encouraged team bonding and provided a safe space for women to share their experiences, challenges, and strategies for empowerment. 

Through these collective efforts, NETIS Group reaffirm our dedication to accelerating action toward a more inclusive and equitable future. We remain committed to fostering workplaces where diversity thrives, women lead, and meaningful change is continuously driven forward.
